It was a nice fall day yesterday so we took a nature hike. The boys favorite part was throwing rocks in the creek.

Logan and Mike made some hand rolled veggie and shrimp sushi for dinner om Saturday.


The Sushi rolls turned out pretty and yummy.

Friday we had Grammy and Grampy over to carve pumpkins.

Tractor Rides

One of my fond childhood memories were my Grandpa pulling us in a wagon behind his lawn tractor. So Grampy set up his tractor and wagon to take the boys for a ride.

Fire Fighting Fun!

Logan is very interested in Fire Fighters right now so we have been taking advantage of October Fire safety month Fire station open houses. We have gone to a few that were nice the kids get to climb on the trucks and get a hat. This past Saturday we went to a really nice Station open house and community days. They had lots of free stuff, games and activities.

Both boys had a blast except Logan wants me to light things on fire at home so he can squirt water on them and put it out.

Our Week

Since I showed Logan some Educational computer games PBS kids it has been difficult for me to use the computer long enough to make a blog entry before he wants me to play a game with him. Logan still sleeping so here are a bunch of pictures of our week.

We set up a big train set all over the living room

Its been a rainy week and Logan has been missing his sand box so I tried to make an indoor version really quickly using shredded paper and hiding treasures in it which he loved but made a huge mess. Next time i am thinking i might put the shredded paper in our old playpen or something to contain it better.

Friday morning there was a break in the rain so we went the zoo.

Busy Fall Weekend

After what seemed like weeks of rainy cold weather we have had 3 days of beautiful weather. We have been so busy trying to enjoy the nice weather we have hardly even been home. On Saturday we had: Blastball, Build and Grow project at Lowes, went to the park and visited a fire house open house.


The boys also spent Saturday night at Grammy and Grampys so that Mike and I could go to our very talented Sister in Law Holly's fashion show.

Sunday after we picked up the boys for their sleep over Grammy joined us for a trip to Browns Berry Patch. We met Aunt Megan, Steven, Liam and Keira for apple and pumpkin picking, took a hayride, went in the corn maze and the kids had fun playing in the barnyard adventure area.
