Coloring Book Fun

Logan and I did many crafty thing this winter but we haven't pulled out the coloring books in awhile. Today was the first time that he really got into coloring in a coloring book. He sat there for a little while coloring and naming all the pictures.

Ethan didn't want to be left out I found him under the table munching on some crayons.

Fun with Oatmeal

Logan wanted to help me cook in the kitchen today so I came up with a less messy alternative. I put some oatmeal and cooking utensils in a bin and both boys had fun playing. I think it's cute how Ethan is sneaking in on the action in the pictures.

Happy Memorial Day!

Yesterday we took the boys to get Professional Pictures for Ethan's first Birthday (hence the matching outfits). Then we went to Nana and Papa's house for dinner. The boys had fun playing with Uncle Caden and Cousin Liam. Logan loved his slice of watermelon but had no interest sharing with Liam.

Luau Leftovers

The leftover Luau decorations have been providing lots of entertainment.

Happy Birthday

Yesterday was my 30th birthday. We had a Luau party at my parents house. My family and in laws had lots of fun playing Can Jam and Baggo. We had a Bonfire and way too much food. Logan and his cousin Liam Had lots of fun digging in the dirt in Grammy and Grampy's soon to be veggie garden. Ethan and Logan really enjoyed eating Mommy's cake. Even Zoey (the dog) got in on the Luau spirit.

Beach Adventure

Last night we took a picnic dinner to Beaver Island State park. We ate and then we played on the beach. We buried Logan in the sand. Logan had lots of fun filling and dumping buckets of water. It was funny to see Ethan (aka the baby in the yellow hat) trying to chase seagulls by crawling after them.

Logan's Fishing Adventure

Yesterday Logan and Mike went fishing. Logan had lots of fun.

Mike wanted me to add that no toddlers were hurt in the taking of these pictures. Logan did not have a fishing hook instead he had a plastic fish tied to the end of the line!

Ice cream and playgrounds

Last night we took the boys for Ice Cream and to Ellicot Creek Park. Now we thought we were smart this time and got Logan a baby sundae in a dish instead of a cone so he would be less messy but apparently Logan + Ice cream = MESS. He was too crazy for me to get a good picture but you can see the drips in the picture below and then his outfit change in the other pictures.

The boys also had fun pretending they were on TV.

Tree Hugger

Logan decided he needed to hug the trees in the park today. I also threw in a few park pictures too!

Fisherman Ethan

While Logan and I were on our Amish shopping trip Mike and Ethan went fishing. Sorry it took awhile to post this picture we were having trouble getting the photo off Mike's phone.

Garden helpers

Ethan's starting to feel a little better but I still wanted to stay close to home today. So I thought I would get my planters planted. I set up the water table near where I was working for the boys to play with. However dirt and plants were way more exciting to my little helpers. We wound up with a huge mess but I did get my 4 herb planters planted and in place outside my kitchen door.

Doctors Orders

The Doctor said the Popsicles would help Ethan's sore throat. Logan is having a Popsicle too because you can't give something to one kid and not the other without a major meltdown.

MIA- Ethan!

In case you may have been wondering why Ethan has been MIA from the blog lately it is because he hasn't been feeling well. He has had a fever and been super crabby for the past few days. I took him to the Dr. today and he has a viral throat infection.

Fun with a Measuring Tape

Logan found a measuring tape this morning and has been trying to measure all his toys.
