When toddlers are quiet...

they are probably doing something they shouldn't! I ran down to throw in some laundry and I thought Logan was playing with his train table- but he was coloring a bunch of toys with a black marker! When I caught him he said "Look what I made Mommy!".

So the toys got a bath!

Gloomy day butterflies

I saw this idea for rainy day butterflies http://paintcutpaste.com/clothespin-butterfly/ and thought they would be fun to make on a rainy day. So when it was raining yesterday we colored on coffee filters and assembled our butterflies.




Our butterflies were all ready to go out in the rain- the rain makes the marker bleed giving it a tie dye effect- but it stopped raining!
I let the butterflies out side for a couple of hours and still no more rain so we made our own rain and splashed water on them.

Easter Bunny

Today I took the boys to see the Easter bunny. Ethan did not like the bunny at all. Logan only went to the bunny because he was handing out candy.

Blue Tongue and Bristle Blocks

I asked the boys what they wanted to put on their blog today. Logan wanted to show off his blue tongue- thanks to a blue raspberry lollipop. They also wanted to show off some of their bristle block creations!

Taco Tuesday and Dying Eggs

Today we had Aunt Megan, Liam, Keira, Uncle Pat and Aunt Holly over for a taco tuesday lunch and Egg decorating.

Petting zoo at the Science Museum

Today the Science Museum had a visiting petting zoo with animals from a local farm. The boys were a little nervous about the animals at first- I think it was because the animals were not in a pen they were just walking around in a room at the museum.



They also loved playing in the hands on area!

Hockey Bunny

The other day Logan found bunny ears when we were putting out some Easter decorations. He asked if he could wear them when we went outside. Then he was playing hockey and saying "I am Hockey Bunny!"

Explore and More Playdate

Today we had a fun play date at Explore and more. Aunt Megan, Steven, Liam, Uncle Caden and Keira met us there. Uncle Caden had today off of school so it was a treat that he got to come too!
